Motors, cables and drive controllers each have electrical properties that influence each other.
Unfavorable combinations can lead to impermissible voltage peaks in the drive system, which may primarily damage the motor.
In addition, the legal requirements of the EMC Directive must also be observed.

The result of efficient collaboration, STOBER developed the hybrid cable in cooperation with HEIDENHAIN, combining power transmission and encoder communication under one sheath.
Here’s the highlight: After extensive load tests, the new cable lets us guarantee a trailing ability without chokes for cable lengths up to 50 meters!
By eliminating the choke, you reduce the installation effort and component variance and save energy and money.
All in all, STOBER OCS gives you the benefit of a modern one-cable solution with low cabling effort, shortened installation times and reduced material and operating costs.
Motors from STOBER are standard equipped with encoder systems and plug connectors.
STOBER provides the cables you need in various lengths, conductor cross-sections and connector sizes.
Depending on the relevant motor types, different encoder systems can be used.
Easy-to-use: For installation, simply connect or clamp the cables to the motor and the drive controller.
The special cable program for power cables gives you a proper and quickly mountable cable connection between the motor and drive controller.
